Warren of Ohms - The Wolf and The Fox [Hardcore/Math Rock]

I just want something different, I'm sorry...

Warren of Ohm's is a one man solo project with the energy and power of a full fledged group. What Warren of Ohms' mastermind Sammy Gurule cites as "my thee year relationship failing" for his theme of The Wolf and The Fox and it clearly shows. The album shows an incredibly dark atmosphere in it's mix of loud and melodically driven guitars and percussion clashing and mixing with Gurule's sometimes screaming sometimes calming vocals in a furious range of emotion. 

Each song on Wolf and Fox has it's own special story, most which the author provides within the descriptions of each of the songs. Many different themes and ideas are explored and many of them are driven home through the shifting styles of craftsmanship through each song. It's the music itself that drives the story through each step that truly captures the beauty of Wolf and Fox. While it may not be an album for everyone, especially for those who aren't fond of harsher vocals its still one that needs a listen regardless.
