Comprised of live improvisational recordings the Bitter Jews project is elusive and very, very interesting. Songs drone for long periods of time and songs brew with festering anger under a sea of noise, sparse guitar lines, hectic drum beats, and the occasional vocal. The atmosphere here is super thick and menacing, filled with the sort of unsettling reflection that leaves us only guess what transpired and led to a recording of an album such as this.
