This is the basis of The Jerffries concept album The Demon of Frenchman Street. In which we get  story of a retired detective taking on the case of catching the serial killer known as The Demon. I won't give any spoilers to the story though, since you can just listen to it yourself.

What really sells such an odd concept is the production of the album, brimming in throwback Beatles and Beach Boys sound; the poppy and upbeat instrumentals of this album are infectious, which makes each track simply enjoyable.
