Casey & Cora - Martyrs [Alternative/Post-Rock]

If she's anything like love I'll take my chances alone...
Martyrs is a perfectly concise record. With an incredible blend of dense instrumentation with powerful melodic drive swimming in a dark and depressive atmosphere Martyrs is an album where each track will leave you hanging for the next second much like the noose on the album's cover. Martyrs follows many themes of isolation, loneliness, and heartbreak not just through its rather poetic lyrics but along with it's instrumentation itself which sets it apart with other albums of it's kind.

The tracks of this album are incredibly light on instrumentation, the most happening at a time are guitar lines and percussion which set up the isolated feeling of the album incredibly well. The lead vocalist of the group also displays an incredible talent, transitioning through spot on pitches and light yells that play a smooth complement to the instrumentals of the album. While only 6 tracks, all of them provide an incredible amount of entertainment for the listener.

You can stream, download, or buy Martyrs here. If you liked this album consider supporting Casey & Cora by throwing a few coins their way to help support any and all upcoming projects. Or you can share this album with friends! Who knows, maybe they like dark and moody albums or are noose enthusiasts! Just remember, a little support and a little word of mouth goes a long way! <3
