Nicole Dollanganger - Curdled Milk [Folk/Acoustic]

I'll love all your demons, because now they're my demons, too...
Nicole Dollanganger is no normal artist, make no mistake of that. She comes in as a wolf in sheep's clothing, soft and angelic in appearance but the deeper you go the more you discover just how dark and corrupt she truly is. Curdled Milk is an incredibly disturbing album with it's songwriting exploring extremely messed up subject matter.

"Lately I can’t recognize you, the doctors lied when they said they saved you, you’re just the shell of the boy that you've been, and you’re dying, I can feel it."

Though what really takes the creepiness of this album to the next level is how Nicole presents her music. Every song on this album is presented with a soft, angelic voice. One filled with child-like innocence and calm that reflects the often empty atmosphere of the instrumentals which usually are only simple and quiet guitar chords. They add a whole new level of feeling and context to the dark subject matter in a way that not many artists can capture. Curdled Milk is a surreal experience to say the least, and it's one that deserves your attention.

You can stream, download, or buy Curdled Milk here. If you wish to support Nicole Dollanganger consider throwing a few coins her way by purchasing her albums. Or you could even share this album with your friends! Who knows, maybe they like songs about beating people to death. Just remember, a little support and a little word of mouth goes a long way! <3
