The Republic Of Wolves - Covers (Vol. 1) [Alternative Rock]

Because SOMEONE had to cover Blank Space...
Have you ever wondered what it would sound like if Brand New covered Limp Bizkit and Taylor Swift? If you've answered no then you have clearly never lived life. Now sadly, this isn't a Brand New cover album but its close enough... I guess? The Republic Of Wolves are an alternative rock band that started gaining attention in 2010 when a YouTuber uploaded one of their songs (Cardinals) under the pretense of it being a Brand New demo. They've in turn met with moderate success and have gained a rather dedicated fanbase.

Covers is a collection of acoustic covers of popular songs that were requested by fans of the group. On it you'll hear just about anything from Thrice to Limp Bizkit to Touche Amore to even artists like Beyonce and Taylor Swift. One would think that with such an oddball mix of different artists and genres that the group would have some difficulty covering them though Republic of Wolves does an excellent job with covering each and every song featured on this collection while making them sound like their own. If your a fan of cover compilations and need a new group to get into, then Covers is a no-brainer.

You can stream, download, or buy Covers here. If you liked this album, consider throwing a few coins in the band's direction to help support any and all future projects. You could even share this album with your friends! Who knows, maybe they'll like jamming out to Bon Iver covers on guitars. Just remember, a little support and a little word of mouth goes a long way! <3
